Camps at Windmill Stables are all about horsemanship, fun, and friends. We emphasize safety, proper care and handling of horses, and proper communication with our animal partners.
If you are unsure of your level, please ask your instructor or call our barn manager so that you sign up for the camp that suits your riding ability.
Beginner Camp: $450
For riders who are just getting introduced to riding or who have been to camp before & have taken some lessons. Half day camps start at 8am with learning to groom and tack up the horse for a fun riding lesson where students learn the basics of riding on our gentle school horses. We continue our day with fun arts and crafts and an educational activity.
Intermediate Week Camp: $450
For riders who are comfortable taking care of their horse, know how to confidently walk, trot, & canter, and have begun jumping. Students will learn new skills & improve their range of riding abilities. Students will learn more complicated riding techniques for the show ring or just to improve their overall riding ability.
***$150 Non-Refundable Deposit Required For Each Camp***
*Rescheduling – if you need to reschedule your rider we will make every effort but to move the rider to another camp, or provide lessons for the deposit amount. However, we cannot guarantee this.
*Cancellations – we send out multiple reminder emails beginning 1-week prior to the camp. If you need to cancel just let us know so we can give the spot to someone on the waitlist. If you do not let us know, and you still take that riding slot, you are expected to pay for the camp.
