Since 1982, Windmill Stables has taught riding in the SpringPark neighborhood of Richardson, TX. We work with riders of all ages and skill levels.

Our Story
Windmill Stables is a family-run riding center in Richardson, teaching English horsemanship since 1982. We keep our lesson groups small and welcome riders at every level.

Our riding camps mix fun with hands-on horsemanship for all skill levels.
Week-long Monday through Thursday morning sessions that mix riding instruction with horsemanship skills.
A membership program with a leveled curriculum where students build riding skills alongside other riders.
One-on-one horseback riding instruction matched to your goals and experience.
Not sure if riding is right for you? This 2-hour session covers grooming, tacking, and riding instruction.
Try horseback riding on a date night or outing with friends. You'll learn grooming, tacking, and basic horsemanship.
Our 30-minute sessions pair your child (ages 3-6) with gentle horses and experienced instructors.
Celebrate special occasions with our 2-hour party package, perfect for birthdays, family gatherings, or special milestones.
Book a 1.5-hour photo session on our property. Backdrops include open fields and our stables.
Full-care boarding with daily turnout, regular feedings, and facility access for your horse.
Learn horse care and help around the barn through our volunteer program.
Stay connected to the barn and enjoy member perks, even without weekly lessons. Perfect for parents, former students, or horse lovers.
